Our Farm



Located in beautiful, green Lancaster County, the Home Farm at Lititz Road consists of 180 acres. We milk approximately 100 Holstein Cows twice a day.

In addition, we crop farm organically on several farms north of Harrisburg, Pa.



Our Story Begins Here...



Now in the second generation, with third and fourth generations involved in the day to day workings of the farm, Danda Farms LLC is truly a small family farm.

Established in 1946 when Dan and Grace Martin began farming as a way of life, the farm is now owned by D. David and Robbin Martin.

Who We Are...



The Martin Family consists of David & Robbin Martin, their 14 children and spouses, and 39 grandchildren! Some of the children are still involved in the day-to-day operations. David and Robbin are thrilled to see some of their grandchildren now helping with the farming as well.



Why we chose ORGANIC



David Martin was raised on the farm where his children and grandchildren now work and play. However, in the early 1990's while farming "conventionally", David began to get concerned about the chemicals he was putting on the crops and the possible health detriments they would cause his young family. He researched organic farming and discovered that it was the better choice in more than one way: healthier for the family and kinder to the environment. Three years later our farm was ready to meet the stringent standards of "Certified Organic", a title we still use with pride today.
